Introduction
The cell membrane integrity of living cells excludes PI. However, if the cell membrane is damaged, PI can be embedded in dsDNA to produce a strong red fluorescence. Therefore, PI can be used as a fluorescent marker for cell apoptosis or necrosis. We provide high-purity (>98%) powder products, which you can dissolve in an appropriate solvent.
