Introduction
DAPI is a cell permeable fluorescent minor groove-binding probe for dsDNA (preferentially to AT rich DNA). The fluorescence intensity before and after binding to dsDNA differs by about 20 times. We provide high-purity (>98%) powder products, which you can dissolve in appropriate solvents as needed.
Physical and chemical properties
Appearance: Yellow powder.
Solubility: In water at room temperature (20 mg/mL); soluble in DMF or DMSO at room temperature.
Fluorescence properties: λ ex / λ em (DNA complex) = 364/454 nm.
